Playdough is my worst nightmare. Yes, I loved playing with it as a child, but as a mother, I can't stand it. Partly because Riley leaves it out, and it dries up, then he gets upset, and partly because it just makes a mess. And, I don't like cleaning all of his playdough accessories after he's done. SO, while at Michael's the other day, I came across polymer clay, and I think I've found a winner! It doesn't dry out, so it can sit on the dining room table all night, and while it may be comparatively messy to play dough, I don't really mind as much. Now...if only I can convince Riley to let me bake our creations.
