The fair

The fair came to town and we decided to go. We wanted to go earlier in the day, and ended up getting there before it opened. Jim did a great job entertaining the boys the half hour we had to wait for it to open.


And the boys did a great job waiting their turn for dad to throw them upside down in the air.

The boys also had some cars to keep them busy.

Once inside we got some ice cream...

After that, we were ready to have some fun. We went on some rides.

Riley looks terrified, but he said that he loved it and went on it twice.

After the rides, we went to see the animals where Riley got to milk a cow.

Every year in one of the buildings, there is a display set up that consist of several long tables with handmade wooden toys on it and you are encouraged to play with them. We spent quite a while at this display. Riley loved all the handmade toys and we had a hard time getting him to leave.

We had a really fun time, but it was also exhausting. Some had a hard time keeping their eyes open on the short ride home.
