Oh, the places you'll go

Jim graduated from the fire academy! All of the long days in the academy and nights away from home have been worth it. Jim has been stationed at station 67 in Calabassas, and we couldn't be more thrilled with his assignment. It's close to home and chances are pretty good that he'll sleep through the night without a single call. Graduation day was a hot day to be outside, but no one really seemed to mind. LA County's Camp 2 provided everyone with cold water as well as a variety of yummy snacks.

Happy it's over!

I have included his speech for those those that want to hear it. He did an awesome job. I took this on my digital camera and the time ran out on it, so I had to tape the end of his speech on a seperate video. It's a little bouncy, so for those of you that get motion sickness, might I suggest taking some Dramamine prior to watching, or just turning the volume up but not watch the screen.
