We've made quite a few trips to Bakersfield to visit Stephanie and her family. No pictures here, but they took us to see some stock car races that was pretty cool and also took us out on their boat to go rafting, water sking and wake boarding.
We took a family trip to Disneyland in March. It was nice to just go and just do whatever the kids were in the mood to do and not have an agenda or time restraints. We've found ourselves more relaxed since we've gotten Disneyland passes because we know we can always go back if we don't do something this time around.
Nicholas and Jim riding the cars
We go to the beach a lot, but it's ususally just to play at the park on the beach. In April, we decided to take the kids to the beach so they could play in the water and sand. They had a blast looking for crabs, building sandcastles and digging holes.
Jim surfed a little and we even saw some dolphins.
In May we went to San Diego on our first family vacation since Nicholas was born. We went to Lego Land and Sea World. The boys enjoyed both places.

Riley also graduated from preschool and had a small ceremony. He will be starting Discovery Kindergarten this month.
Riley's preschool class
Nicholas likes to spend his time doing puzzles. He received a lot of puzzles for his birthday and likes to set them all out in front of him before doing them.
Another thing the boys like to do is play the Wii.

Now you know we've kept busy the last few months. Hopefully we won't have as long a break before posting again.
